Deeper peels can feel a little more intense, but the sensation is brief and very manageable. Your provider will use cool air and neutralizers along the way to keep you comfortable from start to finish.

Downtime varies with the intensity of the peel. Lighter peels may cause minimal flaking with no disruption to your routine, while deeper peels can involve 3 to 5 days of visible peeling for more dramatic results. Your provider will help you choose the right peel based on your schedule and goals.

You will see a nice glow and smoother texture after just one peel. But if you are working on deeper concerns like hyperpigmentation, acne marks, or fine lines, a series is recommended. We typically recommend 3 to 4 peels spaced 4 weeks apart, then a maintenance peel every 2 to 3 months to keep your results looking their best.

Absolutely. Chemical peels pair beautifully with, Aquagold, and injectables as part of a layered skin plan. During your consultation, your provider will map out the right sequencing and spacing so you get the most out of every treatment without overdoing it.

To prepare your skin for treatment, please follow these guidelines:

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner for 2 weeks before treatment
• Avoid retinol and active skincare ingredients (AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C) for 7 days before treatment
• Avoid waxing, threading, or laser hair removal in the treatment area for 7 days
• If you have a history of cold sores, please let your provider know before your appointment
• Arrive with clean, product-free skin

After your chemical peel, please follow these guidelines:

• Wait 4 hours before showering or washing your face
• Avoid strenuous exercise until the following day
• Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for 48 hours
• Avoid active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C) for 1 week or until peeling has fully resolved
• Avoid facials, facial massages, or gua sha for 1 week
• Avoid eyebrow appointments for 1 week
• Avoid direct sun exposure for 1 week and apply SPF 50+ daily
• Do not pick, peel, or scrub flaking skin; let it shed naturally
• Use a gentle cleanser and rich moisturizer while your skin heals

We advise arranging a Wedding Consultation soon after your engagement. During this session, we’ll evaluate your skin’s current state and discuss your vision for your ideal look on your special day and throughout the pre-wedding period. Our medical team is composed of experienced aesthetic practitioners, who are each extensively trained through our rigorous training program to ensure you’re getting the highest standard of care. All of our injectors have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Unfortunately, this treatment is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. After your pregnancy, our team would love to help you as soon as you’re ready.
