BBL (Broad-Band Light) is an advanced light therapy that targets signs of aging and sun damage. BBL treatments typically require little to no downtime. Most people can return to their normal activities right away. You might experience mild redness or slight darkening of pigmented spots for a few days, and very rarely some experience mild swelling but these effects fade quickly as your skin renews and brightens and can easily be covered with a light foundation or makeup.

BBL treatments are generally well tolerated and not considered painful. Most people describe the sensation as a quick, warm “snap” on the skin, similar to a light rubber band flick. The treatment uses a cooling crystal to enhance comfort, and any mild warmth or redness afterward typically fades within a few hours.

The number of BBL treatments varies depending on your skin goals and concerns. Most people see noticeable improvement after just one session, but a series of 3–5 treatments spaced a few weeks apart is often recommended for the best results. Regular maintenance sessions can help keep your skin bright, clear, and youthful over time.

You may start noticing improvements in your skin tone and clarity within a few days after your first BBL treatment. Dark spots often darken slightly before flaking off (usually 1 week later), revealing clearer skin beneath. Results continue to improve over the following weeks as new collagen forms, with the best results typically seen after a series of 3 treatments

Yes, however when removing makeup, be gentle so as not to exfoliate or run any scabbing/dark spots.

To ensure the best possible results and a smooth treatment experience, please review the following pre-treatment guidelines before your appointment:

• Avoid sun exposure and self-tanning for at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment.
• Discontinue retinol, tretinoin, or exfoliating acids for at least 3 days before your appointment.
• Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E) unless prescribed by your physician.
• Try to arrive with clean skin; remove all makeup, lotions, and skincare products from the treatment area
  
  

Following these steps helps reduce the risk of complications and ensures optimal results from your BBL session.

• Cleanse twice daily with lukewarm water and a gentle, non-exfoliating cleanser
• Keep skin well-hydrated; apply a soothing moisturizer as needed
• Avoid: excessive heat exposure (heated workouts, saunas, steam rooms, and direct sunlight for 24 hours)
• Avoid: exfoliants, retinoids, and acne treatments (glycolic/salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide) for 7 days.
• Use a physical SPF 50+ daily; reapply when outdoors.
• Allow treated areas to naturally flake; do not pick or scrub.

Unfortunately, most of our treatments are NOT suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

We do not perform BBL treatments on pregnant clients; however, lactating women may be eligible for treatment if no numbing is applied.

Out of respect for your time and ours, no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged a $150.00 fee
