Regenerative microneedling at CONTŌR involves using a pen-like device with very small needles to penetrate the skin’s surface up to 2.5mm deep. A few hours after treatment, the skin may appear quite red, but the redness usually disappears after 24-48 hours. The skin may be pink and flaky for up to 5 days after treatment, but no downtime is required for our microneedling treatments. At CONTŌR, we utilize growth factors to speed up healing and minimize downtime.
Within a few days of regenerative microneedling at CONTŌR, acne scars are minimized and skin appears more smooth and radiant. You will continue to see improving results for 4-6 weeks as a long-term collagen remodeling process occurs. To continue the collagen remodeling process for even longer term results, check out our microneedling packages. These consist of 3-4 sessions spaced around 4 weeks apart.
At CONTŌR, we use the most potent prescription grade topical numbing agent available. Our guests typically report zero to minimal discomfort with regenerative microneedling.

Please avoid any sun damage for 1 week prior to your treatment
At CONTŌR, your skincare expert will review your at home routine and recommend a personalized regimen for post-procedure care to help you maintain your results. In general, you should use SPF and a generous amount of moisturizer daily
After your treatment, please avoid:
-Wearing makeup for 24 hours
-Direct Sun Exposure
-Strenuous exercise for 24 hours
-intense heat, such as saunas, for 72 hours after the treatment
